U.S. WHOLESALE BUYER GUIDE
Treat a seasonal collection as a dated retail program. Work backward from the U.S. shelf date, narrow the first assortment, approve the sellable pack and physical sample, and separate evergreen inventory from event-specific risk.
STEP 1
Start with the Commercial Brief
State the sales channel, shelf date, store or account count and planned SKU architecture. Include the required U.S. warehouse date, shelf date, markdown window and reorder cutoff. Current MOQ, sampling route and production timing can only be confirmed after the intended assortment and quantity are clear.
STEP 2
Control the Product, Packaging and Inventory Risk
Work backward from shelf date
Share the required warehouse and launch dates so sampling, evidence, production and transport can be reviewed against real capacity.
Build a focused assortment
Choose hero SKUs, coordinated add-ons and price points. Avoid a broad catalog that creates weak quantities and excess inventory.
Separate evergreen and dated stock
Keep reusable color stories separate from year-specific or short-window artwork to reduce markdown and obsolete-inventory risk.
Approve pack-out and replenishment
Confirm retail pack, barcode, case pack, carton marks, fulfillment needs, reorder cutoff and the physical sample used for production.
STEP 3
Approve the Final SKU—Not a Generic Claim
Existing Damai sample photographs demonstrate physical sample-development and coordinated-product capability. They do not prove that a future seasonal retail SKU, artwork, pack or shipment has been approved. Tie the final physical sample to one dated specification and artwork revision.
- Approve dimensions, materials, construction, print, colors and finished appearance.
- Approve component count, retail pack, barcode position, warnings, inner pack and master carton.
- Food-contact, age grading, warnings and other evidence are matched to the actual component and destination market.
- Record any testing or evidence gap before bulk-production approval.

STEP 4
Send a Quote-Ready Seasonal Retail Brief
Include buyer type, sales channel, destination, required date, component list, dimensions, materials, authorized artwork, pack count, packaging, estimated quantity and sample expectations. Damai Party can then review feasibility, current MOQ, sample method, schedule and product-matched evidence.

Private-label artwork and packaging can be reviewed when the buyer supplies authorized files, brand requirements, barcodes and channel specifications.
How should compliance evidence be reviewed?
Match available reports and certificates to each final material, construction, intended use and destination market; document any gap before approval.
