2027 Party Supplies Ordering Calendar: When to Order Custom Holiday Tableware from China

Short answer: for custom party tableware made in China, confirm your design and sample about 11–12 weeks before your in-store date. Our schedule is about 7 days for a simple sample, then 25–30 days of production after the deposit and final design approval. Leave around 45 days for ocean freight, customs and distribution. For 2027 that means Valentine’s orders are due now. Easter and St. Patrick’s Day need designs locked by late November 2026. Halloween needs designs confirmed by mid-June 2027.

The Work-Backwards Formula

In-store date − 45 days (freight, customs, distribution) = ship-from-China date
Ship date − 30 days (production, after deposit and design approval) = production start
Production start − 7 days (simple sample) = design confirmation deadline

That is about 82 days from final design to shelf. Complex constructions and custom packaging can need more sampling time, so add a buffer for them. Production lead time is always confirmed in writing for your quantity before you pay the deposit.

2027 Holiday Ordering Calendar

The in-store dates below are example retail set dates. Replace them with your own buyer calendar or Amazon inbound deadline and apply the same formula.

Plan Around Chinese New Year (Feb 6, 2027)

Chinese New Year falls on February 6, 2027, and the official holiday runs about February 5–11. Factories and logistics across China slow down before and after it. Spring holiday orders (St. Patrick’s Day, Easter) should ship before the break, which is why the calendar puts production in December 2026. If your Easter set date is later than mid-February, ask us to confirm the post-holiday schedule in writing before you commit.

Spring 2027: Valentine’s, St. Patrick’s Day & Easter

Valentine’s custom orders are already at the deadline. For a late start, choose existing designs: heart-shaped Valentine’s tableware set or heart-print Valentine’s napkins. For St. Patrick’s Day and Easter, there is still time for custom artwork if you confirm by late November:

Summer 2027: 4th of July

Halloween has the longest US retail runway, so it is the easiest season to miss. Confirm designs by mid-June 2027, and earlier if you need custom-shaped plates or printed gift boxes. Three directions buyers request most:

Use the 500-Set MOQ Tier

Our MOQ is 1,000 sets per design. When you order 4 or more designs, it drops to 500 sets per design. Quantities are counted in finished sets, and one party kit counts as one set. Grouping a season (for example, four Halloween designs, or Thanksgiving + Christmas + New Year + a winter neutral) lets you test more designs with less inventory per SKU. Sampling and Payment Basics

• Samples: existing designs and simple constructions are free. Complex or custom samples are charged at actual cost. The buyer pays courier freight. Simple samples take about 7 days.
• Payment: T/T 30% deposit, 70% balance before shipment.
• Production: 25–30 days after the deposit and final design approval, confirmed in writing for your quantity.

FAQ

When should I order Halloween 2027 party supplies from China?

For a September 1 in-store date, confirm designs and samples by about June 11, 2027, start production by June 18 and ship by mid-July. Move every date earlier if your retailer sets Halloween in August.

Is it too late to order custom Easter 2027 tableware?

Not yet. For a mid-February in-store date, confirm designs by late November 2026 so production finishes and ships before Chinese New Year (February 6, 2027).

Can I still get Valentine’s Day 2027 products?

Custom artwork is at its deadline in October 2026. Existing designs are faster because they need no new artwork approval. Contact us with your quantities and in-store date and we will confirm what is feasible in writing.
