1. Buyer Brief
Confirm target customer, market, sales channel, products, quantity, packaging, launch date and compliance needs.
2. Feasibility and Specification
Review materials, dimensions, print method, component compatibility, pack count, carton configuration and testing scope. The output should be a written specification, not only a mood board.
3. Artwork and Packaging Review
Confirm ownership or authorization for submitted artwork. Approve print files, warning text, barcode placement, country-of-origin marking and retailer or marketplace requirements.
4. Physical Sample
Review color, construction, dimensions, material feel, assembly and packaging. Record approved changes before bulk production. Sample method, cost and timing are confirmed per project.
5. Commercial Confirmation
Confirm current MOQ, unit price, tooling or setup charges, delivery term, estimated production lead time, payment terms and testing/inspection responsibility.
6. Production and Quality Control
Use the approved sample and specification as the production reference. Agree on incoming material, inline checks, final inspection and production update records.
7. Shipment and Repeat Order
Confirm carton marks, documents, freight method and marketplace/retailer instructions before dispatch. Reorders should still verify artwork revision, material availability and current commercial terms.

How long does custom party supplies development take?
A reliable timeline is estimated after the product scope, artwork readiness, sample method, packaging, testing needs and number of approval rounds are reviewed. Sampling and bulk-production timing should be shown as separate stages and reconfirmed when specifications change.
What should a wholesale buyer approve on a physical sample?
Approve measurable dimensions, material or component specification, construction, color reference, print placement, assembly, retail packaging and the changes required before production. The approved sample should be linked to the written specification rather than used as an undocumented visual reference.
Can artwork or packaging be changed after sample approval?
A change can affect price, MOQ, sample timing, tooling, testing relevance and production scheduling. Submit the revision in writing and request an updated specification, quotation and sample decision before bulk production continues.
Who is responsible for artwork rights and marketplace copy?
The buyer should provide artwork it owns or is authorized to use and approve product and packaging copy, barcodes, warnings and marketplace-specific requirements. The supplier should confirm file feasibility and production specifications but should not imply ownership or authorization for buyer-submitted intellectual property.
When are MOQ, unit price and production lead time final?
They are confirmed against the agreed product, artwork, packaging, quantity, evidence or testing scope, delivery term and approval status. A material revision can require a revised commercial confirmation, so early indicative figures should not be treated as final promises.
Does a repeat order automatically use the previous specification?
No. Confirm the artwork revision, material availability, packaging copy, barcode, current commercial terms, destination requirements and any previous corrective actions before releasing a repeat order. Record the approved version used for each production run.
